Aliexpress Dropshipping – How To Determine The Trustworthiness Of Products Vendor

The success of your e-commerce business using Aliexpress dropshipping much dependent on the products vendor you chose.

Products vendor can either make or break your business.

Working with a less reputable products vendor would often left you with a lot of angry customers. This is mainly due to either low quality products or longer shipping times than it should be.

NO ONE loves to have bad quality products or wait for months to receive their items.

Neither you or me.

Having great products vendor is like having a goldmine for your business. It would give you a lot of happy customers who would love to buy from you again and again.

So it should be your first priority to screen through the credibility of products vendor when comes to Aliexpress dropshipping.

Here are the things you can go through in your screening process…

1. Processing Time And ePacket Availability

ePacket is one of the shipping options provided inside Aliexpress. It is the most cost effective, reliable (has tracking number provided) and fast shipping compared to other shipping methods.

Free shipping option is having no tracking number and extreme slow shipping. So DO AVOID this option.

You should always choose ePacket option (although it has some fees) compared to free shipping option because you want to give your customers peace of mind with the tracking number and fast shipping.

However, not all vendors are having this ePacket option for shipping.

So foremost you need choose the products that are stated “ePacket” available.

Apart from having ePacket option, you should also take into the consideration of the processing time required by products vendor.

Processing time is the number of days the products vendor would take to process your order before ship the item out. It is an additional time on top of the expected shipping time.

So general rule of thumb is the lesser processing time, the faster your customers can receive their items. You should choose those products that are having 5 days of processing time or less. If can find those with 2 or 3 days of processing time, it would be even better.  7 days or more is a BIG NO NO.

2) Store Duration And Detailed Seller Ratings

You should choose the store that has already existed for quite some time. A good benchmark would be 2 years and above (for open time). This indicates the store has some credibility.

To drill things down further, you need to look at “Detailed Seller Ratings” as well which would display when you hover your mouse over to open time.

Here you’ll see 3 metrics: “Item As Described”, “Communication” and “Shipping Speed”. A trustworthiness vendor to be selected for Aliexpress dropshipping should be having Above Average score on these 3 metrics.

The reason so because you want to deal with only vendors that are selling items as what they have described, easily communicated with and fast shipping.

3) Customer Feedback

Nothing can be more real than looking at the past customers feedback on their purchases. So don’t miss out checking out this important part.

This part can tell you a lot about overall customer satisfaction and product quality. If there is a a high number of bad reviews, it could be due to poor quality product or long shipping time.

You should never try to use those vendors with more bad reviews than good reviews. Save yourself from dealing with a lot of potential headaches later.

If there are more good reviews (4 – 5 stars rating) than bad reviews (1 – 2 stars rating) or average star rating of 4.5 and above, it’s a green light to go ahead.

4) AliDropship Seller’s Score

This is a complex calculation where it takes into different important factors to show you if a particular vendor is reliable to be used as Aliexpress dropshipping.

When the seller’s score is showing a “Green Smiley Face” with “Great Choice, The seller is a reliable one”, this means you’re in good hands to partner with the vendor.

Avoid those showing the score less than 90% which is indicated by yellow or red emoji face. Because it could spell potential credibility issues.

Spending time to screen through the important criterias mentioned above is worthwhile to protect your dropshipping business from having unhappy customers.

It just take an extra of few minutes of your time to go through the checklist, so there is no reason for you to avoid the process.
